La dernière compétition de golf qui a eu lieu en Suisse remonte au 2010, lors des National Summer Games de Le Locle/La Chaux-de-Fonds.
Lors de cette manifestations, 3 golfeurs ont été sélectionnnés pour participer aux World Summer Games 2011 à Athènes.
